Assilah’s privileged location, only 20 minutes away from Tangiers airport, makes it an ideal place to program a quick trip for a weekend or long weekend or “last minutes” trip. The enlargement of the airport’s terminal has made it possible to improve the present service of regular flights (Iberia, Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet4jou) with new companies with cheaper prices from Madrid, Paris, Bruselas, Milan (from 30 euros I+V) and from Barcelona. With the opening of the port of TangerMed, Asilah is now closer.  We are 40 minutes away by motorway from the Straits of Gibraltar. Besides with the new port you avoid the chaotic urban centre of Tangiers and the crossing of the Straits from Algeciras to TangerMedhas been drastically reduced. See map.

Since 1978 Assilah`s International Arts Festival has taken place in August. Asilah`s painters, musicians, thinkers, politicians and scientists gather there. This year, the Arab Emirates is the invited country.

The beginning of Ramadan (August 11th) has brought forward these dates. From July 10th, the city walls are garlanded with murals, painted by artists from different countries and an endless number of activities (music concerts, workshops, painting, talks, theatre…) liven up this peaceful coastal town.

Our hotel is located opposite the north pier of the port of Asilah. A fabulous location to enjoy paradise, virgins and endless beaches and gentle and refreshing breeze from the Atlantic.
